Owned and operated by Dan Pinkerton who has over 14 years of experience in the security industry.

After qualifying as a Master Locksmith with the British Locksmiths Institute in 2012, Dan moved to Perth, WA specialising as a residential and commercial locksmith installer and consultant, before starting Pinkerton Security WA in 2019.

In Western Australia, according to the Security & Related Activities Act 1996, A security installer is a person who for remuneration installs, maintains or repairs safes, vaults, security alarms, locks of a prescribed kind, security doors of a prescribed kind, CCTV equipment for security purposes and any other prescribed equipment or device. Performing these duties without holding the Security Installers license and appropriate class can carry a fine of $15,000.
